• Lots of webcomics creators joining Derek Kirk Kim’s call for creators to share their displeasure over the all-white casting of the planned live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I never watched Avatar, so I didn’t know the show was so directly linked to and inspired by various asian cultures; if not for Kim, I would have been primarily concerned that what I always heard was a very good story had been given the kiss of death: M Night Shyamalan will be directing.
